3 Must-Have Budget-Friendly Travel Buddies!
What I pack for healthy travel and why they're staples!
After sharing my Kentucky trip earlier this week, a few of you asked how I stayed on track while still enjoying every moment. Truth is, I kept it simple. I packed a few staples that help me feel my best no matter where I go.
1. FASTer Way Electrolytes
Travel, walking, and extra activity can throw off hydration fast — especially with long car rides, restaurant meals, and coffee stops.
These electrolytes kept my energy steady, helped me avoid that “puffy” feeling, and made it easy to keep my water intake up (you know my Owala bottle was never far away!). My favorite is lemon lime. Check them out.
2. Paleovalley Beef Sticks
Paleovalley uses 100% grass-fed and grass finished beef raised by family farmers, using rotational grazing practices and creating lush, green pastures from of chemicals and pesticides. These beef sticks also support a healthy micro biome with naturally occurring probiotics due to their traditional fermentation practices.; which means no weird preservatives.
These grass-fed sticks are clean, portable protein that kept me satisfied and helped me stay ahead of cravings - no hangry moments here.
My favorite are the teriyaki flavor. Grab them here.
3. “ FASTer Way Creatine
Creatine isn't just for your post - workout recovery and muscle building days. Creatine can help reduce muscle breakdown when sitting for long periods of time. (We had a 7 HOUR drive!). It helped me bounce back faster and prevented fatigue.
Creatine is incredible for brain health helping the brain maintain energy production, improving concentration, alertness, and processing speed.
It helps to counteract the effects of sleep deprivation too.
Hello ~ Easy travel companion. Try out FW's creatine here. I love the plain.
WHY THIS MATTERS:
These aren't just travel tips - they're lifestyle anchors. When you know how to fuel your body, you never feel like you're “starting over.” You come home refreshed, not regretful.
