Secrets to Your Best Holiday Season
A few weeks ago we traveled to Lexington, Kentucky - horse country at its finest; for a few unforgettable days.
We cheered at the Keeneland races, stood in awe at the Ark Encounter, and even enjoyed an insider's tour with a thoroughbred trainer on his breathtaking farm.
It was one of those trips that reminded me why experiences matter more than perfection, the kind that fills your cup, stretches your legs, and reminds you how good it feels to live life fully while still honoring your health.
VACATION OR HOLIDAY TIP: STAY INTENTIONAL.
I didn't count macros or stress over every bite, I just stayed intentional.
HERE'S HOW THAT WORKS:
Kept to a (shorter) fasting window most mornings,
Logged plenty of steps exploring those gorgeous rolling hills, and
Made sure my meals were protein-forward whenever possible.
I squeezed in a leg-day workout (because balance, right?) and kept my Owala water bottle by my side the entire trip.
